In addition it will draw from the International Energy Agency project cluster for smart grid and smart metering. The workshop will start with an exercise to look at future possibilities for the grid in China. From there the workshop will look at the work done by the various smart grid projects around the world. Using the input from this review and the future possibilities, the participants in the workshop will work through the technical issues that need to be handled by the grid in the future in China. Taking the issues that were selected the participants will work through what might be done to manage the issues that were developed earlier in the workshop.
