Job Description

Technical Manager –SmartGrid/AMR – UAE

My client needs a technical manager to oversee the implementation/installation of one of the first and largest AMR meter replacement projects in the GCC region.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to be involved in an esteemed and influential project for the future of utilities technology in the Middle East.

The project involves the replacement of manual meters with digital 100% automatic AMR (automated meter reading) enabled electricity meters in the UAE, specifically across Abu Dhabi, on behalf of the local authority.

The successful candidate will have extensive technical knowledge in SmartGrid implementation technology – specifically AMR technology - and software on projects across a large geographical area.

**UK/ European system/career experience is highly preferred**

Remuneration package can be discussed on submission of a suitable application; with my client appreciating this role will involve relocation.
