Job Description

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Sr. Marketing Manager  responsible for monitoring customer needs and supporting the sales growth of new and established Power Quality products. This position will report to the Manager of Business Development for PQP and must have a proven track record demonstrating successful commercially-oriented Product Management.


This position will be working with the Power Quality Products team which is responsible for the marketing, engineering and manufacturing of Power Quality products for the utility and general industrial markets. The Power Quality products include PureWave Medium Voltage UPS, Low Voltage UPS, DSTATCOM, Community Energy Storage (CES) and Storage Management System (SMS). 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing marketing and selling strategies for inverter products for utility grid interconnection.
  • Interfacing with Sales to define and address customer needs and sales strategies by account.
  • In support of Sales, conducting customer visits and performing product presentations.
  • Developing product feature specifications and target costs.
  • Interfacing with Product Engineering teams to drive new product introductions.
  • Developing, coordinating, and driving execution of promotional strategies and tactics.
  • Interfacing with Communication Services to promote PureWave products through literature, web, ads, etc.
  • Coordinating and developing major project proposals.  Driving approval by leadership, commercial “closing” of orders, and resolution of Terms and Conditions.
  • Continuous improvement and development of marketing capabilities.
  • Ownership of a market segment to the point of being recognized as an industry expert at trade meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS – Electrical Engineering, MBA degree preferred.
  • Product management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers/suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with power electronics and power electronics manufacturing.
  • Strong customer and commercial experience.
  • Experience in sales or marketing in the Renewables market.
