Job Description

Established, industry leading progressive Energy Services Company seeks an experienced Energy Engineer. We are a rapidly growing Buffalo Top 100 privately held company that provides Demand Response services to industrial, commercial, institutional and government clients. Our service involves paying our customers to reduce energy usage during times of peak energy consumption and we are in need of an experienced energy engineer to perform energy audits, work with customers to develop action plans for events, and talk with customers to help them perform better in events.

Primary duties:

Interface with customers to understand customer energy usage and develop action plans for curtailment during emergency events
Review event performance with customers and develop action plans to improve future performance
Respond to customer inquiries regarding emergency event performance
Perform periodic reviews of customer operations to identify changes in customer energy use patterns
Perform site visits as needed to identify curtailment opportunities
Identify energy conservation opportunities and available funding for implementation

Job Qualifications

Must have strong computer background and interpersonal skills. Mathematical and analytic aptitude required
College degree in an engineering or technical discipline required. Electrical engineering degree is preferred
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience performing energy audits or working in the energy conservation field
